The making of this video was difficult due to the limitation of my equipment. I shot all footage on my iPhone X which does not have the .5 lens. The reason this lens would have been necessary for this video is that it would have been easier to showcase the rooms of the Inn and communicate their eccentricity. I recognized this issue at the moment when I was gathering B-roll for the story, but I wasn’t sure how to fix it until later when I decided to just take pictures instead. I re-contacted the owner and she told me I could come back to the premises for pictures or just use the ones her photographer got for their website, which are the pictures that ended up making it into the video.
